Discover Velja! Open links in your preferred browser or native app. Seamlessly switch between apps for optimal browsing experience. Requires macOS 15.4 or later.
Velja is a browser extension that enables users to open links in specific browsers or their native apps, regardless of the default browser setting. It provides a seamless experience for managing browsing preferences, allowing users to open Google Meet links in Chrome, Figma links directly in the Figma desktop app, and Zoom meeting invitations in the Zoom app while maintaining Firefox for internal websites. Key features include quickly switching primary browsers, interactive prompts, direct opening of links to specific apps like Airtable, Amazon Chime, and Spotify, and removing tracking parameters from clicked or copied links. Velja also supports custom link rules, enabling users to define specific rules to open URLs based on domain (e.g., “google.com”), app origin, or both. The extension supports Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers like Edge, Brave, and Vivaldi, as well as native apps for services such as Slack, Discord, Zoom, and more. It also supports opening shortened URLs and includes a large list of URL shorteners.
