OsmAPP is a user-friendly application designed for the OpenStreetMap ecosystem, similar to Google Maps, offering intuitive editing capabilities built with technologies like React, Next.js, and Maplibre GL. It features a map displaying clickable points of interest, cities, and ponds, alongside upcoming enhancements. The app provides a panel mirroring iD editor presets, including image support, plus functionalities such as public transport information, airport runway tables, and electric vehicle charging socket details. Users can save changes using their OpenStreetMap login or anonymously add notes. Additional features include an opening hours editor, a Photon-powered search engine, 3D tilting vector maps with a layer switcher, mobile compatibility via PWA, and multi-language support. Points of interest can be created by clicking coordinates, and accidental deletions can be easily undone.
