ReVanced: Enjoy a YouTube experience without ads, with SponsorBlock, background playback & more. Customize your viewing with this powerful client.
ReVanced is an open-source project that provides unofficial modifications and enhancements to YouTube, aiming to replicate and expand upon the functionality of the discontinued YouTube Vanced app. Key features include ad blocking (No Ads, SponsorBlock), background playback, auto repeat, returning the dislike feature, video downloading, and improved user experience through patches like microg integration, AMOLED optimization, and minimized playback support. Additional enhancements include restoring older video quality settings, removing the create button, and providing easy video navigation via a seekbar tap, along with continued background video playback. The project strives to offer users similar features and functionalities as YouTube Vanced, while also introducing new improvements and optimizations.
