OpenBoard is a cross-platform interactive whiteboard application, designed primarily for educational use and compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. Initially created as a fork of Open-Sankoré 2.0, derived from Uniboard, OpenBoard prioritizes ease of use for teachers in the classroom, focusing on core functionalities. The project is currently maintained by the Education Department (DIP) of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland, with logistical and financial support from the University of Lausanne. This collaborative effort, involving multiple universities and institutions across Switzerland, aims to guide the ongoing development of OpenBoard Whiteboard according to its original principles.
