Mcomix is a user-friendly and customizable image viewer primarily designed for comic books, but also functions as a general-purpose viewer. It supports the opening of images within ZIP, RAR, 7Zip, and tar archives, as well as individual image files. Developed using Python with GTK+ through PyGTK bindings, Mcomix is compatible with both Linux and Windows operating systems. As a fork of the original Comix project, which ceased development in late 2009, Mcomix focuses on providing bug fixes and stability enhancements.
