Hoodik: Lightweight, self-hosted, encrypted cloud storage with fast uploads & downloads. Easy Docker install, secure sharing, & browser crypto. Ideal for privacy & efficient file management.

Hoodik

Hoodik is a secure, self-hosted cloud storage solution designed for privacy. It offers end-to-end encryption with robust ciphers like AEGIS-128L and ChaCha20, ensuring your data remains private. The server only stores encrypted files, preventing unauthorized access. A single Rust cryptography engine powers all platforms – web, Android, and iOS – simplifying security audits. Hoodik also features a privacy-preserving search function using BERT tokenization and SHA-256 hashing. Users can create and edit encrypted notes with a built-in WYSIWYG markdown editor, similar to Obsidian, offering syntax highlighting and offline access via local encryption. Furthermore, it supports concurrent uploads/downloads, S3-compatible backends (AWS, Backblaze B2), two-factor authentication, and multi-account support. Deployable as a single Docker container, Hoodik offers flexibility across various architectures and database options (SQLite or PostgreSQL).
