Calibre-Web is a web application offering a user-friendly interface to manage and read eBooks through an existing Calibre database. Built with Bootstrap 3 and HTML5, it provides features like full graphical setup, user management, and an admin interface accessible in multiple languages (English, French, German, Polish, Simplified Chinese, Spanish). The application supports OPDS feeds for eBook reader apps, filtering and searching by various criteria, creating custom book collections, editing metadata, and converting eBooks between formats like EPUB to Kindle. Key functionalities include restricted downloads for logged-in users, public user registration, sending eBooks directly to Kindle devices, browser-based reading support (TXT, EPUB, PDF), PDF/EPUB/FB2 uploads, and customizable Calibre columns. Fine-grained per-user permissions and self-update capabilities further enhance its usability.
